Had a session with Katy yesterday, due to my shoulder injury i'm quite restricted with what I can do, which is very boring, BUT Katy is very clever and thinks of many different things I can do. I also need to make sure that I do my shoulder exercises every day, but I do seem to be only working one arm then? will I have one popeye arm and one teeny one???
Its so hard to find motivation when its about 3 degrees and dark by 5pm, however as I am learning not an awful lot can last you quite a long time, ie a few quick circuits indoors can get your heart rate up and warm you up !!
This week I've challenged myself to at least one session in the gym at ESB, which means I need to be UBER organised and have everything with me. It remains to be seen as to whetherI can actually do this . . . .
I'm also yet to weigh myself or measure myself in 2012, I need to steel myself for that methinks, I'll try and do it before the end of Jan. Although I am now a great believer in measuring yourself is a better barometer than the scales.

Post Christmas funk
I have got the major post Christmas 'I cannot be bothered to move' feeling! the house is full of 'bad' food and the desire to exercise is non existent. As easy as it is to be motivated when Katy is standing next to me, its just as easy to do sweet FA when i'm on my own. I need to dig deep and find that motivation I had by the bucket load in the Summer. Here's hoping!

First Session
I'll be honest I was quite knackered when Katy turned up first thing yesterday, & I was quite apprehensive about going outside to exercise in weather that was about 1°!
Needless to say I did not need to worry, Katy turned up with some equipment for a nice cosy 'killer' workout!! If you were to have just told me what I was to do I would have just said 'well thats a bit easy', how wrong was I?
Several short intense workouts later I was sweating profusely & breathing very heavily. I did enjoy it though & I'm looking forward to my next session. Bit worried about trying to maintain my dieting & exercise over Christmas though . . . . .

Assessment day
Well today was my first meeting with Katy, I wasn't nervous but I was very tired and really quite hungover!
I've had a headache all day from over indulging last night so the last thing I wanted to do was any kind of fitness! Katy has broken me in very slowly, and only seen what I can do today, which was actually quite nice and easy. I'm pretty sure this may get a wee bit harder as time goes on. All in all a good start. Quite looking forward to my first proper session on Sunday.
